3D printing is a printing technology that belongs to additive technology and is based on the layer-by-layer application of material. 3D printing is therefore a printing process where a computer-generated 3D model is transferred to a printer and the final physical model is obtained.
When is 3D printing a suitable solution?
We usually use 3D printing to test solutions, prototypes... So things that are done in small batches. A good example are key chains, phone holders, various prototypes and later also the final solution, e.g. car light holder.
